Iron Supplements (By mouth)
Treats low blood iron or anemia by helping your body make red blood cells.

There may be other brand names for this medicine. When This Medicine Should Not Be Used:
You should not use this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to iron supplements, or if you have a condition called hemachromatosis (iron overload disease) or hemosiderosis (iron in the lungs), or any type of anemia that is not caused How to Use This Medicine:
Your doctor will tell you how much of this medicine to take and how often. Do not take more medicine or take it more often than your doctor tells you to. Carefully follow your doctor's instructions about any special diet. • It is best to take this medicine on an empty stomach, 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Take the medicine with a full glass or water or fruit juice. If the medicine upsets your stomach, you may take it with food. • Measure the oral liquid medicine with a marked measuring spoon or
