Biography
Dr. Robbert J. Verkes is psychiatrist and clinical pharmacologist and holds a position as associate professor at the Department of Psychiatry at the Radboud University Medical Centre, Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He has been medical director of the Pompe Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry in Nijmegen. He currently is consultant in outpatient forensic psychiatric care. Dr. Verkes is chairman of the Dutch Association for Psychopharmacology and the section Biological Psychiatry of the Netherlands Association for Psychiatry (NVvP). He is member of various scientific advisory boards and has published about 100 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters.
